Made in just 8 months by Rubner Haus with the “Casablanca” system by commission of the Franciscan Clarist sisters, the convent is near the Via Adriatica, and offers the benefits of a wooden prefabricated structure: 100% natural and sustainable, with a pleasant scent of resin, and ideal control of temperature and humidity in the interiors.

The new facility has an area of about 600 square meters, and its image reflects the characteristics of the local rural architecture of Salento.

The central part of the structure contains the chapter house, a library, workshops, a kitchen and a dining hall. Behind it there are six cells, 9 square meters each, and bathrooms.

The complex also has various courtyards, and a slightly separate guesthouse for visitors.
