25 anni dopo la cucina minimale disegnata da John Pawson per Obumex, il designer e il brand rinnovano la loro collaborazione con un progetto che attinge allo stesso linguaggio architettonico dell’originale, introducendo però elementi nuovi. L’inedito design riprende l’idea di comporre un prodotto identificato da una serie di elementi più simili a mobili che ai tradizionali componenti della cucina. Elementi che, pur rispondendo perfettamente ai requisiti funzionali necessari alla preparazione dei cibi, generano anche uno spazio abitativo suggestivo e adattabile, dove cucinare e ritrovarsi per trascorrere del tempo diventa un’esperienza piacevole. 25 years after the minimal kitchen designed by John Pawson for Obumex, the designer and the brand renew their collaboration with a project that draws on the same architectural language as the original, while introducing new elements. The original design takes up the idea of composing a product identified by a series of elements more similar to furniture than to traditional kitchen components. Elements which, while perfectly responding to the functional requirements necessary for the preparation of food, also generate a suggestive and adaptable living space, where cooking and meeting to spend time becomes a pleasant experience. For Obumex, the feeling of being at home represents one of the main cornerstones of all its kitchens, together with timeless elegance, refined luxury and pleasant comfort.
