Concept
Airstream Inc. and MINI have joined their strengths in order to offer the best of design and functionality and have created the MINI Cooper S Clubman Airstream by Republic of Fritz Hansen. This unique specimen will be featured for the first time ever at InterniDesignEnergies.

Project
Republic of Fritz Hansen did not save on details when they had to design the interiors of the MINI Cooper S Clubman and of its Airstream trailer. Taking inspiration from the outdoor lifestyle of the surfers, the interiors of the Airstream include – among other things – new interpretations of the Egg and Swan chairs by Arne Jacobsen, as well as a table with four original chairs from the Seven Series, which offer enough space to hosts. All this is complemented by a wood panelling that gives the right “modern surfer”-style look. Also the MINI Cooper S Clubman reflects that same adventurous personality with clean lines, lively colours such as thunder green and all the interior gadgets you can expect to find in a MINI and much more. The dominating colour of MINI Cooper S Clubman is black, with neoprene “sub swimsuit” black accents combined with green finishes. Also the 6.7 metre long silvery Airstream trailer features the same details as MINI outside, but the interiors have been designed for beach lovers, with features such as waterproof interiors and a sunbathing bed.
